Yesterday I visited Brooklands race track in Surrey. Once the centre of speed and innovation, today it lies broken, overgrown, and covered in weeds. It is a reminder that even the mightiest things of this world do not last forever. As Scripture says: “The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand forever.” (Isaiah 40:8) In all things, there is hope: while human achievements may fade, God’s love and promises remain unshaken, guiding us through every season. Welcome to the St Columbas website St Columbas is part of the Church of Scotland. Many of the congregation have Scottish or Presbyterian connections but certainly not all. We have a lively mix of nationalities and denominations ages and life experiences members and visitors. In normal times St Columbas combines activity peace and prayer.
