Merchant Navy Welfare Board Improving the lives of seafarers and fishers by raising welfare standards in collaboration with our stakeholders The work of MNWB is to help improve the effectiveness of all those charities caring for merchant seafarers fishermen and their dependants. Training Certificates We have issued over 4000 training certificates to participants. Grants awarded 15 UK charities and organisations have been funded through the Dft grant programme. Towards costs The Vehicle Replacement Programme has awarded grants helping towards the cost of new vehicles for welfare societies.
