We are honoured and delighted to announce that His Majesty the King has exercised his will and pleasure in appointing General David Richards, Baron Richards of Herstmonceux, to the honorary rank of Field Marshal in the British Army, with effect from Saturday 14th June 2025. This appointment is made in sincere recognition of his most distinguished service and continued support to the United Kingdom, realms and territories.
