Society Events Welcome to the Flintshire Historical Societys Website The Society was founded in 1911 for the collection and publication of archaeological historical information and materials relating to the then County of Flint. A programme of lectures are organised during the winter months. Over the summer we arrange a series of excursions to sites of historical and archaeological interest. The Flintshire Historical Society Journal is our main publication.
