Friends of Bridlington Hospital Supporting the Hospital since 1953 working alongside staff patients and visitors Menu Raising funds for vital equipment Staff Nurse on Lloyd Ward uses the urine analyser and the ultra sound bladder equipment both purchased by the Friends but these are both used right across the hospital Raising Funds since 1953 The Friends sole purpose is to raise funds to purchase much needed equipment for use at Bridlington Hospital. They have provided skeletons for physiotherapy bladder scanner for Waters Ward 200 sets of Helping Hands for Johnson Ward and much much more. Selling garden produce to raise yet more funds Working with a local allotment society the Friends have regular garden produce stalls at Bridlington Hospital Over 200 patients benefitted from Helping Hands The Occupation Therapy team based on Kent Ward were delighted wiht the Helping Hands initiative. With over 200 pieces of equipment being given out at preassessment to patients before they have hip surgery so that patients can practice using them before they have their operations.
