In September, we celebrated the finale of the 2025 Welcome Home Weekends in London — a warm welcome for #RhodesScholars joining the Alumni community from across Europe. The weekend featured panels, fireside conversations, and the Meeting Minds Alumni dinner at Rhodes House, creating space for young Alumni to reconnect, share stories, and build networks. The event was made possible through the generous support of a donor, whose contribution also enabled Welcome Home Weekends in Singapore, Cape Town, and Washington, D.C. We are profoundly grateful to: ⭐Elleke Boehmer & Luan Staphorst. Through research, consultation and translation, Elleke and Luan led the creation of the |xam-language carving on the parapet of Rhodes House with diligence and sensitivity. This inscription acknowledges the source of our wealth and will stand for generations to come. ⭐Cristina A. Bejan. A tireless champion of Rhodes Scholars in the arts, Cristina has helped to amplify often overlooked voices, and co-leads a thriving online community for creatives. ⭐Rick Lee. A longstanding advocate for Rhodes Scholarship expansion, Rick has laid vital groundwork for new constituencies through fundraising, mentorship, and sustained engagement. ⭐Ronald S. Katz. A thoughtful and active Scholar, Ron initiated a series of global webinars inviting Alumni from around the world to explore pressing international issues — while also expanding events, reunions, and Alumni outreach in the US. ⭐Prashant Sarin. A dedicated connector and mentor, Prashant has been instrumental in engaging key supporters for the Trust’s mission in India and beyond, all while offering thoughtful guidance and support to younger Scholars.
