Poppy was seized by police after she was found to be lame and not bearing weight on her back leg. She also had a large lump on her front leg, and her left ear tip appeared to have been cut. X-rays showed she had untreated broken legs and other historic injuries, including fractured ribs. A vet concluded that her injuries were non-accidental 💔 There were fears that she may have to have her leg amputated, but thankfully she made an amazing recovery at Rspca Ashley Heath, before finding a forever home with one of our animal care assistants. Thankfully her injuries don’t hold her back, and she's now the happy-go-lucky girl she was always meant to be! Every hour, we receive 16 reports of animal cruelty incidents just like Poppy.
