A huge thank you to @heather_ngs for coming to talk to us last night about the history of the National Garden Scheme. For sharing the history and incredible fundraising efforts of the charity which helps many great causes. We also learnt about some wonderful Berkshire gardens you can visit including @welfordpark and @stubbingsnursery to name a couple. Last year we had over 1,000 entries in the Children’s Competition Marquee and we would love to have this many entries or even more this year. Every child is very welcome to come and have a go. We have different classes in gardening, cooking, arts, crafts and sewing. Head of Gardens Coworth Park, Terry Crow is one of the Children’s Competition Judges and Terry share some hints about what she is looking for when judging.
