The Association received an invite, with 2 members of HQ attending, to the Election of the new Mayor of Portsmouth at the Portsmouth Guildhall. What a fascinating event to watch overseen by judges, barristers and councillors yet with an element of personal touch by the outgoing Mayor and the new Mayor elected. There was a very emotional speech from Pompey legend Alan Knight MBE who received the Freedom of the City Thank you Portsmouth City Council for the invite (fb)

Tel Welcome to the Association of Wrens The Association welcomes all serving and former women of the Royal Naval Services which includes WRNS RN QARNNS RNWRNR RFA and RM. The Association of Wrens was formed in 1920 yet is still relevant today for those who wish to keep in touch with friends and colleagues from service days. About Us About Us Over 5500 women members from both the UK and overseas share a unique camaraderie based on their determination that the spirit of the service is kept alive.
