The group who meet every Tuesday morning decided to get involved in Christian Aid Week by raising money based on the number of games they could play. Christian Aid Week is well and truly under way 🎉 Some of our amazing supporters joined London Freedom Walk on Saturday, exploring the capital and discovering the history of some of its oldest churches. With a new route, supporters visited some notable locations including St Ethelreda’s in Farringdon – the oldest Roman Catholic church in England and Bunhill Fields Quaker Garden – the final resting place of many famous people such as John Bunyan and William Blake. The walk brought people together in solidarity with others around the world who must travel long distances for essentials like clean water – just like communities in Guatemala. ⏰ There’s still so many days and so many ways that you can get involved to help push back against poverty this Christian Aid Week!
