Join us for a summer treat as we journey throughout the opera and operetta world, visiting Paris, Babylon, Seville, the Duchy of Lotharingia, Scotland, Carthage, Imperial China and a village in Calabria on our Grand Tour. In a lighter vein, we travel with Gilbert & Sullivan from Cornwall through the English countryside and up to London via Venice! Can you work out what you are going to hear? Why not come along and see if you are right! We are delighted to be once again able to showcase the talents of Richard Pearce at the piano. Richard is a conductor, pianist and organist recording and broadcasting on Radio 3 with the BBC Singers, and is a regular with the Philharmonia and the BBC Symphony Orchestras. Welcome to the Beckenham Chorale a mixed voice choir of around 85 voices. Founded in 1960 we are a friendly choir in the heart of the community committed to providing the best choral experience for our members and audiences. Our repertoire is extensive and varied both sacred and secular embracing music from the Baroque to the 21st century. We perform three concerts a year at St Georges Church Beckenham conducted by our Music Director Mark Griffiths with professional soloists and orchestra.
