Here's something else to look forward to - why not join us at Wantage Parish Church on Saturday 14 December at 7:30pm for an evening of carols and more? HOME ABOUT US PATRONS CONCERTS APPEAL FUND MEMBERS AREA CONTACT More WANTAGE CHORAL SOCIETY WELCOME TO WELCOME TO WANTAGE CHORAL SOCIETYWe are a thriving mixed voice choir with over 50 members performing three concerts per year. We have a long tradition of combining the classics with contemporary music and selections from operas stage shows and filmsIn December 2024 we performedCeremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten with solo harp accompanimentFantasia on Christmas Carols by Ralph Vaughan Williams and other seasonal items. In March we performed Haydn39s Nelson Mass and his motet Insanae et Vanae Curae together with Evening Hymn by Henry Balfour Gardiner. Our four soloistsabove Mia SerracinoInglott AltoCatherine Hooper SopranoJack Redman Bass andToshi Ogita Tenor also performed a solo item by composers including Richard Strauss and Roger Quilter.
