📣 Records tumble as Southdown females ‘fly’ at the 2025 Melton Mowbray Show & Sale 📣 Southdowns were much in demand at the Southdown Sheep Society’s second sale of the season at Melton Mowbray on September 12/13th. Overall, Southdowns took the top three places for the highest sheep prices across all breeds at this year’s Traditional & Native Breeds Show & Sale, quite an achievement with over 800 individual sheep entries across all breeds and species.
