A big thank you to Mr Alan Turner, who travelled from Kent to today visit the museum with his family. 40 years ago, Mr Turner discovered a model of The Fisher Queen drifter in a bottle, at a car boot sale in Somerset. Following a bit of research, his brother discovered that we have a Joe Crowfoot painting of the drifter on display, plus another painting too. Today Mr Turner donated the model which can now be seen amongst our extensive boats in bottles exhibits. Mr Turner bought a mug from the museum shop, also depicting The Fisher Queen.
