School may be out for the summer but our Cadets have been making the most of the good weather, and last weekend, three of the RAF section went gliding at RAF Little Rissington. For Lucas this was his first time gliding, although he has already experienced powered flight with the Cadets, in the Grob Tutor. Conor and Ollie had both been gliding previously, and both share a passion for flying, with Conor (who has his Private Pilot's Licence) currently studying for his Instrument Rating Exam, and Ollie having just completed a 6-day aviation scholarship with Cotswold Airport! The Cadets each had two launches and also assisted in helping with the launch of each other’s aircraft. (fb)
