This week, we welcome our 2025/26 Academy singers to the Studio for their first focus week 🌟 The Academy supports singers based in the UK who show exceptional vocal promise but may have faced barriers in their development. Our 2025/26 Academy Singers will take part in two intensive training weeks: October 2025 – dedicated to the solo singer, with tailored support for arias and audition preparation April 2026 – focused on ensemble work and stagecraft, leading to a public performance at the National Opera Studio The Academy is completely free to attend, with travel and accommodation support available for those coming from further afield 🤩 (fb)

Young Artists Programme Our comprehensive ninemonth training programme delivered in collaboration with the six fulltime UK opera companies is designed to provide Young Artists with all the necessary skills for success. Applications for our 202526 Young Artists Programme are now closed. The Academy The National Opera Studio Academy offers free training to UKbased singers aged 1925 with exceptional potential who may have faced educational or professional barriers.
