Feeling the post Bank Holiday blues? Here's something to cheer you up this weekend! Horsley Choral Society will be holding a joint summer concert with Oxshott Choral Society this coming Saturday 31st May at St John's School Chapel, Leatherhead. The concert entitled 'Summer Days - Summer Praise' will include music by #mozart, #handel and #Mendelssohn with songs for a Summer evening. The choirs will be joined by professional soloists, Jane Searle (soprano); Elizabeth Searle (mezzo-soprano); Matthew Rickard (organist, pianist) and David Harvey (pianist). It will be a particularly poignant concert for both choirs as it will be the last with Musical Director, Valerie Beynon, who will step down from the conductor's podium at both HCS and OCS at the end of summer term.
