The 2025 edition of the Exchange Platform Meeting (EPM) of Service Civil International (SCI) happened last week in Bonn, hosted by SCI Germany. The annual meeting of SCI brought together 49 participants of 31 different nationalities representing 35 Branches, Groups, Partners and Contact organisations based in 33 different countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America. IVS was represented by Nuno Doria, our Programme Manager: “Common Ground in Peace Work was the theme of this year's EPM and that was certainly found during this meeting. SHORTTERM WORKCAMPS AND LONGTERM PROJECTS IVS is a branch of Service Civil International SCI and for a full list of shortterm projects please clickhere There is also a wide range of longterm projects ranging in length from one month to a year and for a full list please clickhere IVS is also pleased to be able to offer a new medium to longterm opportunity to teach english abroad and you can find out more by following the links here SCI SOLIDARITY FUND SCI of which IVS is branch have created a Solidarity Fund for 2025 to enable and encourage disadvantaged volunteers to join in the SCI International Volunteer Projects Programme Workcamps attendance and shortterm volunteering projects.
