Council Consultations: Crews Hill & Chase Park (Vicarage Farm) The Council has opened two consultations on housing masterplans for Crews Hill and Chase Park (Vicarage Farm). Residents have until 21 September to share their views. 🗓️ Consultation dates: 8–21 September 📍 Drop-in session: Wednesday 17 September, 3–7pm, Enfield Central Library About the consultations The proposals outline potential developments that could shape the future of these areas. Points raised so far include: • Consultation timeframe – This process runs for 14 days, shorter than the typical 6 weeks. • Green Belt considerations – Some of the land earmarked for development is currently protected countryside. • Heritage sites – Historic locations such as Owls Hall and The Paddocks are noted in the plans, but residents may feel they need greater recognition. • Transport and infrastructure – Questions have been raised about how local services, roads and public transport could support future development. • Community input – Concerns have been expressed about how much local feedback has been included in the early stages. 📝 How to take part 1.
