AngloTurkish Society Welcome to the AngloTurkish Society The AngloTurkish Society was founded in 1953 with the object of strengthening and developing the historical ties of friendship and understanding between the peoples of Britain and Turkey. Our Events programme comes out usually three times a year. The Society which at present has some 400 members provides an opportunity for all those interested in Turkey visitors from Turkey Turkish residents in the UK and British people who have visited or lived in Turkey to meet for cultural and social activities. Activities include lectures on a variety of subjects.
