On Thursday 17 July, Students in Year 1 and Year 3 at Hague Primary School performed their final dance pieces as part of our Dance Moves Project. Throughout the academic year, the children have been exploring the Movement Alphabet® under the guidance of Paola, one of our talented and experienced Language of Dance teachers. Each week, the students were inspired to delve into and explore the language of movement, where Paola guided and encouraged them to understand and embody key concepts through creative exploration as well as discovering choreographic processes. Together, they co-created original dance pieces that reflected their growing confidence, imagination, and understanding of movement. The result was a vibrant and expressive performance that celebrated not only their physical skills but also their ability to collaborate, interpret, and innovate.
