Today marks the birthday of the late Lady Lavinia, Dowager Marchioness of Cholmondeley, born on this day in 1921. She founded the Cholmondeley Awards for Poets in 1966 to recognise the achievement and distinction of individual poets. Recipients are chosen by the Awards Committee for their general body of work and contribution to poetry. Hear from one of this year's winners, the wonderful Annie Freud, on what winning the prize meant to her. (fb)
