🌟 We’re SO proud to announce that three of our incredible Plumpton College students and recent graduates have been named finalists in the 2025 LANTRA Land-Based & Environment Learner of the Year Awards! 🌿 From top to bottom: Opal Owen, Zoe Toole & Molly Sheppard-Ward 👏 🐄 Opal Owen – A passionate Agriculture student with a love for cattle hoof trimming, Opal’s dedication to animal health and welfare has already earned her major recognition. This summer, she proudly received the Royal Agricultural Society Student of the Year Award, celebrating her hard work, skill, and commitment to the industry. 🎓 Zoe Toole – Zoe’s journey at Plumpton has been nothing short of inspiring. A hardworking and engaged student, she’s represented the College as an outstanding Student Ambassador, achieved the Top Undergraduate Research Project for her dissertation, and received the University of Greenwich Merit Award for Outstanding Achievement. Zoe is also a finalist for the Association of Colleges Higher Education Student of the Year Award 2025 — an incredible testament to her drive and passion. 🌸 Molly Sheppard-Ward – A talented Horticulture student, Molly’s creativity shines through her award-winning designs. Her sensory garden ‘Art in the Dark’ captured hearts, earning the People’s Choice Award at the BBC Gardeners’ World Spring Fair and a Gold Award at the South of England Show. A true rising star in the world of horticulture! 💚 We couldn’t be prouder of these outstanding learners who embody the spirit, skill, and dedication of Plumpton College.
