A New Era Welcome to Twickenham Choral recognised as one of the foremost choirs in West London. 2024 was a momentous year for the choir with the retirement in June of Christopher Herrick after fifty glorious years at the helm marked by a memorable concert of Verdis Requiem at Cadogan Hall London. While Christophers retirement marked the end of an era we were delighted to appoint Howard Ionascu as Musical Director and Conductor from September heralding a new era for the choir. We are now well into our first year under under Howards exuberant baton performing to sellout audiences for both our Messiah concert at Christmas and more recently Monteverdis virtuosic Vespers of 1610 accompanied by His Majestys Sagbutts and Cornetts and the Monteverdi String Band a first partnership for both the choir and their debut in Teddington.
