From September to December we have funding for FREE transport for schools in the locality (approximately within a 30 minutes radius of the reserve), that have yet to explore the reserve, courtesy of Cummins, and with support from Bayliss Executive Travel A double-decker will collect the children at 9.30am and leave the reserve at 2.00pm. Up to 60 children per trip, per visit, can take advantage of this offer. We kindly ask that this offer is restricted to one trip per school so that as many schools have a chance to visit as possible. If you would like to book, please email education@monkton-reserve.org expressing your preferred dates, number and year of pupils etc. We are encouraging schools to book on Tuesday and Thursday if possible, but we can facilitate other days of the week given sufficient notice.
