➡️Surrey Heath Borough Council is set to consider the future of the Woodend Road car park in Deepcut at its upcoming Executive meeting. The car park has been identified as becoming surplus to operational requirements in the near future, due to the planned opening of a larger car park at nearby St Barbara's Church. Surrey Heath Portfolio Holder for Property & Economic Development Cllr Kel Finan-Cooke said: “This could mean continuing with discretionary support services for those most vulnerable in our community, supporting new affordable housing developments where they’re needed, or directly reducing the council’s debt and associated costs.” You can access the Agenda of the meeting of Tuesday 20 May 2025 and read more about the Woodend Road car park item on our website.
