The Narrow Boat Trust has been associated with easyfundraising since the start of the year. It's a scheme where our supporters through their online purchases raise funds for the NBT at NO COST TO THEMSELVES (apologies for the Trump-esque use of upper case!). We have just received a donation of £20.49 from companies that our members have bought from. Home The Boats Maintenance x27Coalx27 Runs Join Gallery Media Contacts Links Public Documents NBT Members Only More Who we are and what we do The NarrowBoat Trust owns and operates the 39Large Northwich39 motor boat Nuneaton and the 39Large Woolwich39 butty unpowered boat Brighton built as part of the massive expansion programme of the Grand Union Canal Carrying Company in the mid193039s. The Trust gives the general public the opportunity to operate the boats laden in full working trim crewed entirely by volunteer members as they travel the system or are displayed at Canal Festivals. If you39d prefer a support role given the boats age there is always something to repair or replace. The Trust39s main source of income is from the sale of solid fuels transported across the UK from the Midlands to the South along exactly the same routes in use when the canal system was the backbone of the industrial revolution.
