Fascinated by volcanoes? Join Professor James Hammond as he takes the audience on a journey to North Korea to hear all about Mount Paektu for this month's Royal Astronomical Society Public Talk. Home of the so-called 'Millennium Eruption' in 946 CE, the volcano again showed signs of activity from 2002-2005, prompting a rare invite for international scientists including Professor Hammond.
