Seaford Lifeguards

Seaford Lifeguards keep Seaford Beach safe, voluntarily, during the summer. In an emergency call 999 and ask for the Coastguard. Registered charity no.: 294836 Seaford lifeguards are voluntary lifeguards whose aims are to keep Seaford Beach free from danger, to prevent loss of life from drowning by training young people in water safety, first aid, boat handling, radio operation and resuscitation. SEAFORD LIFEGUARDS ARE A VOLUNTARY ORGANISATION WHO PATROL SEAFORD BEACH WEEKENDS AND BANK HOLIDAYS FROM 1ST MAY TO 30TH SEPTEMBER. THEY ALSO MONITOR THE BYELAWS FOR LEWES DISTRICT COUNCIL, INCLUDING SPEEDING BOATS WITHIN THE SWIMMING AREA AND DOG FOULING. THEY ENDEAVOUR TO PREVENT ACCIDENTS BY VIGILANT OBSERVATIONS AND WARNING OF THE DANGERS OF THE SHELVING SEA.

Always swim at a lifeguarded beach. about seaford lifeguards Seaford Lifeguards is a voluntary lifeguard service whose aims are to keep Seaford Beach users free from danger to prevent loss of live by drowning or injury by training people highly in water safety and rescue advanced first aid resuscitation surf rescue boat handling VHF radio operation. Seaford beach is patrolled at weekends during the school summer holidays between 1100 and 1700hrs.
