As we start the new school year, the NHS are promoting and raising awareness of the important HPV ( Human Papilloma Virus) vaccination which will be offered to all students in Yr8 and then to anyone in Yrs 9-11 should they have missed it previously. Well, staff are back today but our students are still enjoying a couple more days of lie ins! The final two weeks in Borneo, which took place at the beginning of the summer holidays, were a real adventure! The group stayed with local families, spending a night singing and dancing in traditional Malaysian outfits, they visited a local school, completed a mammoth 4-day jungle trek sleeping in hammocks, mountain biked, did some white-water rafting, and finished by spending some time at the beach to recover. The students were all fabulous company and pushed themselves outside of their comfort zones and threw themselves into everything. What a great trip with some fantastic memories!
