Est. 1888 the NDA is a library & archive with focus on North Devon. We are located in the library alongside the North Devon Record Office & Local Studies. Est. in 1888 the NDA is library & archive based in Barnstaple Library and Record Office. The North Devon Athenaeum provides resources and advice to the general public on local and family history within the North Devon and West Country area. The North Devon Athenaeum holds and maintains extensive collections of local and general interest books, as well as historical documents about local and family history.
