⛵ The King’s Sailors competed in the East Kent Yachting Association 6-hour race at Dover Harbour, hosted by Cinque Ports Sailing. Light, shifting winds made conditions tricky for the Le Mans style event, which required crews to swap in and out of boats at least three times, beginning with a beach sprint to the water. The harbour lap course initially took 20 minutes but stretched to over an hour as the breeze faded, demanding full concentration in the heat. The King’s teams, four in a Topper and six in a Feva, remained near the front throughout. At the finish, the Feva placed first double hander and the Topper third, securing the Best Team Prize and the Junior Trophy.
