Our Year 8 boys had a memorable final few weeks at Aldwickbury, filled with activities and trips as part of their Leavers’ Programme. They enjoyed exciting visits to the Oval and Silverstone, followed by a week of outdoor sport and adventure in the beautiful Devon countryside. 🏎️🚵 Back at school, they embraced their Apprentice Challenge, working in teams to produce, market and sell their own delicious smoothies. As part of Languages Week, they stepped up as leaders, planning and delivering lessons in various languages to the Juniors! 🌍 We rounded off their time at Aldwickbury with a special Leavers’ Dinner and a sunny final day of cricket and tennis shared with their families and friends, a perfect way to end their time with us. 🏏🎾☀️ It was lovely to celebrate the boys in our end of year assembly and at Prize Giving, where they were recognised for their accomplishments and growth throughout their time at Aldwickbury. 🎓🏆 We’re incredibly proud of all they’ve achieved and wish them every success in their next chapter! 🙌 #AldwickburyLife #PrepSchool #Leavers2025 (fb)
Last week, Years 7 and 8 had an amazing experience in Bulgaria with Adventure Peaks! 🇧🇬 They trekked through the Rila Mountains, took in the breathtaking views of the Seven Rila Lakes, and visited the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Rila Monastery. The boys embraced the challenge of hiking to the Polezhan summit (2,851m), and their determination, teamwork and commitment helped them push through and reach the top. It's always fantastic to see the Aldwickbury values in action. 🏔 Mr Bacon, Mr Mannall, Mr Gilyead and Miss Mobbs returned as very proud teachers.
