Friday morning pop up market : Just a quick update folks - for those of you wondering if Sean will be on the Village Hall car park tomorrow morning, unfortunately we are unable to confirm his attendance. However, Rachel will be there with her home baked goodies and Dave from Parkside bakery will also be there. Michelle from Walker Butchers is unable to attend tomorrow but hopes to return soon. From June (date to be confirmed) the pop up market will be relocating to the Woolpack car park. Debbie and Martin will be looking to expand the number of stalls (to include fruit and veg) so please keep a lookout for further information from them. If we hear anything further from the stallholders we will pass it on. (fb)

Latest Update Weston Village HallManagement Committee are delighted to announce that they have been successfulin obtaining two grants 6500 from Severn Trent Community Fund and 2000from the Platinum Jubilee Fund via ACRE Action with Communities in RuralEngland. The applicationswere made in order to complete the following projects i New flooring in the entrance hall and kitchen ii Upgrade the external doors in the kitchen and main hall with stronger and more secure aluminium doors iii Electricalwork which will involve the installation of a new 24way distribution board and upgrade the lighting in the bar area These projects will mean the Village Hall will continue to be well maintained safe and fitfor purpose. This 2024 investment project will now provide our community with thelegacy of a sustainable facility for years to come. Once all the work has been completed the plan is to hold an Open Day in the New Year to promote the hall and the work that has been undertaken.
