Today marks an important milestone for animal welfare as the Import of Dogs, Cats and Ferrets Bill enters the committee stage in Parliament 👨⚖️ This crucial legislation will significantly strengthen protections for animals by tackling puppy and kitten smuggling, prevent the importation of vulnerable, pregnant animals, and close loopholes that allow the importation of dogs with cropped ears. We thank all those who have supported the Bill to this point and will provide further updates on its journey through Parliament. (fb)
