NEXT CONCERT Our summer concert this year will be on Saturday June 7th. The concert will feature the effervescent Festive Overture of Shostakovich followed by Respighis Boutique Fantasque a ballet in one act where dolls magically come to life and dance. RimskyKorsakovs vivid and enchanting suite Le Coq dOr is based on an opera in 3 acts The Golden Cockerel. The Pines of Rome the most recorded of Respighis works is a tone poem in four movements lively and playful solemn and mysterious tranquil and serene and finally powerful and triumphant.
