2022 saw our famous Medieval Mystery Plays return to York, with local performers, taking to the streets on pageant waggons! What will 2026 hold? York Festival Trust, on behalf of York's 7 Guilds has been bringing the Mystery Plays to the City streets every 4 years since 1998. Production of the York Cycle of Mystery Plays in the waggon play tradition using a four yearly cycle. Arranging conferences to increase the knowledge of the mystery plays in this form.
