Friends of York Art Gallery | A lively interest group with a passion for art

Founded in 1948, the Friends of York Art Gallery (an independent charity) supports @YorkArtGallery through a range of acquisitions, research, talks and events To raise funds from members' subscriptions, from organising educational visits, functions and parties, in order to aid the development of the York Art Gallery Collection and to sponsor activities to further the appreciation of fine arts in York and its immediate surrounds.
