BAET Home News Make a donation Leave a Legacy Feedback Contact More Registered Charity No 516893 Bradford Airedale Eyesight TrustBAET Supporting the Eye Departments of both Bradford Teaching Hospital and Airedale Hospital BAET is a registered charity that has been set up to benefit those suffering from eye problems in the Bradford and Airedale area The charity supports the eye departments of Bradford Teaching Hospital and Airedale Hospital in a number of ways It provides equipment not normally provided by the National Health Service for the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases in the area It helps with funding and publishing of research into eye diseases It helps fund the provision of visual aids for the blind and partially sighted. It helps with the education and training of students Ophthalmologists Orthoptists and Optometrists intending to specialise in Ophthalmology. We are a registered charity set up to provide support for the eye departments of both Bradford Teaching Hospital and Airedale Foundation Trust. We support by providing additional funds for equipment that otherwise would not be able to be purchased and help with funding training of various members of staff including nurses orthoptists and optometrists.
