ABOUT US Running for over 70 years The Derby West Indian Community Association DWICA is a voluntary run community organisation which exists to provide services for the Black and Culturally Diverse community of Derby. DWICA has been running for over 70 years on a mainly voluntary basis but we now employ staff and have an excellent track record and experience in staff recruitment management and supervision. Within the Community Centre some of the services we provide or host include An annual youth conference annual summer school annual Caribbean carnival carnival costume design and make workshops music and dance workshops activities for Black History Month and annual Christmas dinner. The Community Centre is also available for hire for functions and activities.
