We're thrilled to launch our NEW School Poster Competition, open to all primary schools! 🎨 🖍️ Our 2025 show theme is ‘Society and Agriculture’ – and we want to see how local youngsters view farming, the countryside, and the importance of agriculture in our daily lives. 🌾🏡 🚜 Competition details – already shared with local primary schools: • Open to KS1 and KS2 pupils • Posters should be A3 and designed using pencil, felt tip, chalk or paint • Each school can enter up to 6 posters – either individual or group entries • Submit by: Friday 27 June 2025 Fantastic prizes for winning schools! Art materials to the value of: 🥇 1st place: £300 🥈 2nd place: £150 🥉 3rd place: £100 Thanks to our generous sponsors at McCartneys LLP, Ludlow Winning entries will be announced in July and all posters will be displayed on Show Day – Thursday 7 August 2025! Stewards - your Show needs YOU! 🫵 If you would like to be involved with helping on Show Day, please contact the Show Office: info@burwartonshow.co.uk 01746 787535 . If you have a young person that would like to help, they should be accompanied by a responsible adult. You should also be available for the Steward's Meeting on Sunday 3 August 6.30pm There are opportunities in all areas of the Show: car park, livestock, trade stands, entertainment, horticulture etc. We are in desperate need of Horse Field stewards. All shifts are approximately two hours. Your Steward badge will allow access into the Member's Pavilion. (fb)
