Home Welcome to Droylsden Juniors Football Club Alan Bradbury MBE a true hero and certainly a true friend. He was one of those people who knew absolutely everybody and everybody knew him too the stories you hear and the stories he told truly make you feel privileged to have had the chance to work with such a remarkable man. Alan established Droylsden Youth Centre in 1963 and then Droylsden Juniors Football club was built as a prefabricated building. We now have approximately 500 players and many enquiries from children and parents asking if and how they can join the club we have 100 coaches and 50 football teams Before his passing he started working on a new project which was to build a full size 3G pitch which would offer so many benefits for the club if youre unsure of what a 3G pitch is press this LINK his hard work will hopefully be completed in 2027 which means he will still be touching the lives of many young people and help with the development of their grassroots football.
