Welcome to the first visitor of the year to the Trust’s Kensington house, Dr Ahmed Kamal, Director of Documents within the Centre of Documentation of Islamic and Coptic Antiquities of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities (shown here outside Kensington Palace). Dr Ahmed is spending the month examining the collection of Arabic papyri in the @britishlibrary, in the first instance to gain a better understanding of what is there.
