Green Candle Dance | Community Dance in London

We are a registered charity that believe everyone has the right to practice, learn, watch and appreciate dance, regardless of age or ability The principal object of the Company continues to be to bring dance as performance and as practice to all sections of the community, particularly to those with least access to it; to promote, maintain and advance education and to actively promote the social inclusion of people commonly excluded from full social inclusion by involving people in dance and the encouragement of the art of dance.

Welcome to Green Candle Dance Company We believe everyone has the right to practice learn watch and appreciate dance regardless of age or ability. Participation Green Candle delivers weekly dance workshops aimed at children young people and older adults with and without physical and learning disabilities. We create tailor made packages for oneoff sessions workshops and projects designed to meet each groups specific needs. Training Green Candle is at the forefront in developing and delivering training programmes for dance practitioners performers choreographers school teachers physiotherapists care workers and other health professionals to develop their skills in using dance within a variety of settings.
