Mental Health Awareness Session at the Mandir tomorrow (Tues 22/07) You're invited to a vital Mental Health Awareness session specifically for our community! We're delighted to announce that Dr. Saira Ahmed, a leading Mental Health Consultant, and Javaid Razzaq, Involvement Lead from Cygnet Health, will be joining us. Dr. Ahmed regularly speaks on a local radio station, reaching out to the Asian community to help them understand and recognise mental health issues, and she's ready to answer your questions on everything from care to medication. This session is a unique opportunity for us to openly discuss mental health – a topic that, as a community, we often tend to "brush under the carpet." Dr. Ahmed and Mr. Razzaq will share valuable insights and, importantly, address and help to dispel the taboos that often surround mental health within our community. *SPABfd Defibrillator Update* Yesterday we had the launch for the Public Access Defibrillator (PAD). It went really well and I'd like to thank all those that took time out to attend - it was very much appreciated 👏. The Defibrillator has now been fully commissioned and registered on the UK Defib database and available to emergency services and the wider public.
