CHARITY DAY OF INK TATTOO SALE This Sunday (18th) between 11am - 5-30pm Tasha of Kiss My Ink Tattoo Studio is opening her doors especially for us. Other than their basic costs for equipment, £10, all the money she raises will go towards supporting Second Chance Portsmouth Cats. If you have been thinking about getting a new tattoo lately then why not have it done this Sunday, not only will you have your own personal work of art you will also be helping your favourite cat charity. All you need to do is turn up, choose any one of the cat pictures on show ( perhaps even our Portsmouth Cats emblem) and wait your turn. For Sunday only they are all just £40. Being a big animal lover and especially of cats Tasha has chosen to devote the whole day to helping Second Chance. This is a completely new and very exciting fundraising event for us, in fact, we are so looking forward to it that some of us are even thinking of having one done as well. WE’VE GOT AN AWARD! We are extremely proud to announce that today Second Chance Portsmouth Cats was awarded a Civic Award by the new Lord Mayor of Portsmouth. It is in recognition of everyone who helps within the charity. The citation reads: “Making a real difference to the welfare of cats in Portsmouth by their tireless work to rescue, re-home and support cats” There is one very important person missing from the photograph: Helen Rowley. Even today she was out at 6am trying to trap and save an abandoned cat for the rescue. (fb)
