What is SYO. Stockport Youth Orchestra is for young musicians living in and around Stockport and has gained an enviable reputation not only for quality concerts but also for the range of opportunities and orchestral training it provides for young people. It is now acknowledged as one of the leading youth orchestras in the region. Rehearsals The orchestras meet each Friday evening at the Stockport Music Service George Lane BredburySK6 1DJ during term time to rehearse and are coached by experienced professional instrumental tutors and performers.
