Being part of a safe and positive community plays a powerful role in our mental health and wellbeing. When we build strong connections and surround ourselves with supportive people, we’re reminded that we’re not alone. A good community gives us a sense of belonging, safety, and support — and that makes all the difference. We run six support groups each month across Essex, in Benfleet, Chelmsford, Tendring, Epping, Southend and Colchester. The groups share successes, frustrations and challenges and develop insight into the effects of their injury and the impact it has on their life.
