We welcomed several guests at our meeting on 5 August: Jonathan Myles visited us again, #Hsiu-Min Hung from Taiwan told us about her passion for art, socializing in pastel and having several one-woman exhibitions in the past. she is currently in Cambridge improving her language skills. Finally we had speaker Stephanie Hughes. Stephanie told us about the use of common plants in Anglo Saxon medicine which was both fascinating and informative. (fb)
At the club meeting on 29 July we welcomed Visiting Rotarians Andrea Layman from Clearwater Florida, Kuteesa Tapenence, Immediate past president RC Seguku D9214 Uganda and Tanzania and daughter Ruth Tapenence, and Anne and Benedikt Gratzl RC Zurich Plus Switzerland.
