Godalming Band Brass band in Godalming since 1937 Welcome About our band Based in the South West corner of Surrey three miles from the county town of Guildford the Godalming Band has been in existence in its current form since 1937 and boasts both an active Senior and Youth band. The membership is a cross section of people of all ages living in the local community. Thanks to the generosity of the people of Godalming and the surrounding area the band has remained a selfsupporting organisation raising our own funds for the instruments music and uniforms we require through regular public performances in and around the Godalming area at a variety of venues including concert halls bandstands outdoor concerts and a selection of local shows and fetes. The band also take a pride in fundraising for local good causes recent concerts have been held for Citizens Advice Waverley.
